POLITICAL RISK
In 2024 the world saw more people go to the polls than ever before. In total, half of the worlds population cast ballots in over 60 countries. It also turned out to be a challenging year for incumbents and incoming parties. In the face of high prices, rising inflation, economic inequality, divisions over cultural and social issues, the decline of legacy media and the rise of new media, new technology, and the like, voters in many countries took out their frustration on the status quo. Organizations operating around the world are not immune from these challenges and APRG has been working with many on strategies and tactics to mitigate political risk.
CYBER THREATS & CRITICAL INFRASTRUCTURE
As cyber-threats directed at critical infrastructure increase, public officials around the world have been working to understand why critical infrastructure is vulnerable and what can be done to protect it? In a ground-breaking report for public facing clients, APRG examined the "uniquely critical" electricity sector, described the key challenges impeding risk mitigation in the ES, and detailed several key recommendations.
