In her latest book, Sikander Hyat-Khan, Jeanne provides a comprehensive examination of a pivotal figure in the history of unified Punjab. Hyat-Khan served as Premier of the Punjab just prior to Partition; elected in 1937 he served until his untimely death, at age 50. 

At a time when vast swaths of the American public have lost faith in their government, Jeanne's new book examines the root of the problem and provides a pathway for making the system more responsive, accountable, and effective. American Democracy in Crisis is scheduled for release in late February, along with an audiobook version.
